Shaoguan Station (High-speed station)

The Shaoguan Wuguang Train Station took the name Shaoguan Station from the now currently named Shaoguan East Station which is a regular train station.  The current Shaoguan Station was built well outside the developed area of the city in the far-west with future plans to expand the city.  The station was saw its initial passengers in late December 2009 when the line opened.

How to get to/from Shaoguan Station

The station is serviced by several local bus routes traveling to various areas of Shaoguan (including a very limited service to Danxia mountain).  The most convenient and common route for travelers to and from the city proper is the Number 22 (set fare: 2 yuan) running through the city past many landmarks to the Shaoguan East Train Station.  The number 22 runs 7.30am till 10pm everyday at scheduled 10 minute intervals during the day and 15 minute intervals at night.   The journey to the Shaoguan East Station is approximately 30 minutes.
