Shaoguan City Museum

Location and Premises
The Shaoguan City Museum was opened in 1961 in the Fengcai Archway exhibition room. In 2001 the museum moved to its much larger present location in the west of the metropolitan area on Gong Ye West Road in Wujiang District. The building occupies an area of 17,300m2 and features eleven exhibition halls on three floors. Five of the halls are currently open to the public showcasing Shaoguan's colourful past and interesting culture.

Besides from taxis, the museum is serviced by buses 9, 19, and 22 making getting there simple.
